Rider name: Sasha KrushnicPrompt scene: Going it Alone Place: Shallow Sea waters.StorySasha and Niebo made their way from one part of the beach to the other. Sasha had heard other survivor in the far distance but never once thought of joining them. Niebo and him where going to survive on their own, it was easier that way. They where going to keep moving. Sasha had all he needed in his backpack, and in front of him.
Niebo was inspecting the shallow sea water when Sasha decided to join him. He sat in the sand untill the water started to rise and the sun began to set. In the far distance he could see the clouds gathering, the rain was coming. The two walked to the five dead trees that made something like a small ring, with a clearing in the middle of them, it wasn't big, but he and his horse had enough space to be comfortable. Sasha took his backpack and put it under his head. He decided to get some sleep before the worst of the rain came.
The woods were cold, something was chasing them... Niebo's hooves clapped softly on the grey ashy powder that made up most of Purgatory's ground. Their only light was the reddish glow in the far distance. Both horse and rider knew where they where headed. A cave against the side of one of the sharp cliffs, there they would be safe. Sasha could see the fallen down tree and motioned Niebo to jump. The two of them landed with a thud, but kept cantering untill they where ar the mouth of the cave. Sasha jumped off his massive horse and grabbed his knife. He stood still, listening to the sounds of his horse breathing, and something else. A six legged creature came fro behind one of the boulders on his left, where its face should have been was now only a set of three teeth and a jagged horn. It charged at Sasha, but he was too slow. Sasha had sliced off its front half, the back part turning into itself then it disolved into a red goo. that seemed to burn the ground. the front did the same, but not as fast. Sasha looked closer, its skin looked like hundreds of thousands of tiny mirrors.
Sasha sat upright, Niebo was looking at him, ears pricked. The nightmares where coming back... Sasha sighed and looked at his hands. they were shaking. "We have escaped one hell, just to be shoved back into the other." He said to his horse. The stars where still shining. No way Sasha was going to get back to sleep now. He put his backpack onto his back and started walking.
